The Kona Historical Society offers a beautiful
pasture setting for any special event. Our Kalukalu site is
located at a cool elevation (1500 feet) and includes an ocean
view, native plant forest, majestic monkeypod and magnolia
trees, an authentic Portuguese stone
oven, stone ruins, and the historic H.N.
Greenwell Store that dates from 1870. The pastures and
old trees, the stone structures, and the view of the ocean
beyond, provide many beautiful venues for ceremonies and photographs.
Your guests will enjoy the tranquility of an authentic ranch
setting, rural in nature, yet conveniently located.
Arrangements may be made with us for a special
Portuguese stone oven bread baking, or for special tours inside
the historic H.N. Greenwell Store.
